The best facial soap I have ever used, bar none
I have had problem skin since I was a teenager. I am now in my 50s. I have tried every kind of soap, bar, cream, etc. that you can think of. For years Mary Kay facial wash (for women, and I am not one) worked fairly good. Then I moved to Japan and it just became a chore to get it, so I gave up. I have used LUSH products and they are also good and I love them, but still nothing in the facial department that made me happy (but in fairness to them, I have not used their more expensive products).
One day in my drugstore here in Tokyo I found Lanolin-Agg-Tval. It was a little pricey, but something about "eggwhite facial soap" caught my attention, not to mention the lack of pretension and packaging. In Japan everything has to be wrapped in plastic until it is suffocated. The LAT was in a simple blue box that was sealed with a store sticker, that's it.
I bought it... and to my happy surprise, it was absolutely superb. After using it, my face feels thoroughly clean, without being dry, and I sense a slight glow, although it might be my imagination... but perhaps not, because I had a model friend say: "What is your skin regime? You look great?" No one has ever said that to me in my life, and the only possible reason I might look a little bit better is because I use LAT.
Sorry to go on, but, honestly, I am extremely happy with this product. In fact, the only reason I came to Amazon today is because my drugstore isn't selling it anymore (that gives them a chance to sell more of their own products encased in plastic). I am ordering LAT today and I plan to never be without it.

Smells Nice
I'm not sure if my skin has improved after using this soap, but the soap does smell very nice. I follow the directions and lather my face with the soap, leaving the lather on my skin for a few moments. My skin always feels fresh and clean when I remove the soap (although it does burn if I get it into my eyes). This soap is light and fresh and pleasant. I keep the unused bars in my linen closet, where they release their nice scent.
Lanolin soapThis is a good soap. The ingredient list is fairly simple and the soap bar lasts a very long time.
Soap does work best when you let it sit on your face like a mask for several minutes. After the rinse, the pores shrink and skin starts to glow!
